Summer Newsletter 2018

CHERRY CREEK WATERWORKS DISTRICT values our water supply. We’ve noticed a trend over the last few years where there is a decrease in the length of our rainy season and an increase of our dry season.  Although, our lake level is at max at the beginning of spring we have seen an increase in usage compounded by an increase in evaporation due to the lengthening dry season; consequently, Cherry Creek Board of Trustees is implementing Stage 1 water restrictions effective immediately to ensure a safe, sustainable, long term water supply throughout the dry summer months.

Throughout the summer months we will keep the residents informed as to any further water conservation measures as the season progresses. We appreciate your continued support and understanding.

STAGE 1 Water restriction is now in effect.
